FAITH FORMATION PK TO GRADE 6 PROGRAMS &
ON-LINE REGISTRATION

We have the monthly
JOYFUL SUNDAYS,
THURSDAY First Communion family programs,
or WEDNESDAY weekly classes to choose from!

Grade 7 and the Sacrament of Confirmation (Grade 8) are coordinated by our Youth Minister. Registration for Grade 7 & Grade 8 are separate.

Dear Families,
Welcome to St. Gall! Look at your schedules and calendars for the best Faith Formation days and times for your family.
You can complete your family's registration on-line for the 2025-2026 St. Gall Faith Formation Programs. Paper registrations for returning families are available upon request.
Wednesday classes will be outside during September weather permitting. There are extra supplies to bring! Students should always bring a water bottle to classes.
Your child will receive a student workbook, class folder and calendars from the Faith Formation Office during their first class at Church. Parent Curriculum Meetings will be held during first classes; check the program calendar or bulletin for more information. Classes will begin in September after Labor Day.  Watch the bulletin, the Faith Formation Info & Events web page and our Facebook page for more details about registration and to receive notification about our events.
It is very important that families are actively involved in the faith life of the parish, especially attending Mass on a weekly basis. We offer Liturgy of the Word for Children in preschool to 1st Grade during the Sunday 10:30am Mass. We need more volunteers for this special ministry.
Everything learned in Faith Formation flows to and from the Sunday (or Saturday evening) Liturgy. Attending Mass is not just an obligation but a necessity in order to be a faith-filled Catholic with a strong relationship with Christ. We are enriched and nourished by the Eucharist!
Thank you for allowing us to partner with you as you teach your children about Jesus and our Catholic faith! I would love to meet with you to help you formulate the best plan for your family!

Our Faith Formation Programs are only successful because of its volunteers.  You can make a tremendous difference in the faith lives of our children and teens.  Each family is asked to volunteer in at least one area even if it is small!  More opportunities will be available as the year progresses.

Catechists and Aides:  We appreciate your time and dedication.  FREE TUITION for families of Catechists and Aides.  All Catechists and Aides are expected to be in the classroom each week, MUST attend weekly Mass and work towards Catechist Certification, attend In-Service classes and have completed the Safe Environment program requirements and other forms.  This is a very rewarding ministry!

Office Assistants:  Volunteers are needed during the Weekly Wednesday class times for all kinds of support for our Catechists and classes.  Volunteers will receive free tuition. Help during FF office hours is greatly needed, too!

Creative Collaborators:  Would you like to help us with crafts, creating on-line games (like Kahoot) , videos,  PowerPoint templates or other projects?  Please sign up by email to Donna Doherty, [email protected]

2025-2026 THEME

“Always be ready to give an explanation…a reason for your hope.” 1 Peter 3:15
KNOW, LOVE, ACT! How can you bring hope to the world?

Our theme reflects our call to missionary discipleship.  As St John Paul II reminded us: The universal call to holiness is closely linked to the universal call to mission. Every member of the faithful is called to holiness and to mission. We are called to be Eucharist by word and action to our brothers and sisters in Christ. Our times cry out for this kind of holiness, one inflamed by the ardent determination to bring as many of our brothers and sisters as possible to Christ. - United States Conference of Catholic Bishops

SACRAMENT PREPARATION

First Communion 2-Year Program
Attending faith formation in the year prior to a Sacrament is required. Grades 1 & 7 should be attended by all students. Faith Formation is a lifelong process. Attending Faith Formation and Youth Ministry helps our children to maintain not only a knowledge of our faith but also a relationship with Christ and the Church. Mass is the Sacrament that gives us unity with Jesus and the necessary spiritual food for our journey in life!

25-26 MEDICAL AND LIABILITY FORMS
All Faith Formation students need to submit the Multiple Event Youth Forms with  Medical and Liability information if they have not done so already. They will stay on file at Church. If any of your information changes, especially medical, submit a new completed form to the Faith Formation Office.

For events that children attend without a parent, parents sign their child in at events on this form. Just download the forms with the button below. Bringing a friend to an event? They need forms, too, unless a parent attends with them.
