Our Mission
The mission of the St. Gall Respect Life Ministry is to proclaim the Gospel of Life to St. Gall parish and the surrounding community through education, witness and service.
What we do
- Foster awareness of pro-life issues
- The abortion crisis
- Crosses on the parish grounds to reflect the number of souls lost to abortion (during October, Respect Life month)
- The Tiny Soles program
- LIFE CHAIN on Respect Life Sunday (first Sunday of October)
- March for Life Chicago
- Other issues: euthanasia, capital punishment, adoption, openness to life, infertility, etc.

- Peaceful silent prayer outside of the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Aurora IL
- We go to the Planned Parenthood in Aurora on the first Saturday of every month at 10am in order to join those from other parishes and communities in silent prayer and witness. We pray for those who go into Planned Parenthood, for their babies whose lives are at risk, and for the conversion of the staff that works at Planned Parenthood. A group leaves from St. Gall at 9:15am in order to carpool.

- Corbella Clinic - a pregnancy medical clinic serving families facing unexpected pregnancies; located in South Elgin IL www.corbellaclinic.org
- TLC Pregnancy Center, Elgin IL - Their mission is "to encourage women and men facing unplanned pregnancies through education and outreach by providing limited medical services, material resources, emotional and spiritual support as we minister to them in the name of Jesus Christ."
We participate in their Adopt-a-Baby Bottle Campaign www.tlcpregnancyservices.com - Beautiful U Ministries (serves the needs of at-risk pregnant teens and homeless single moms and children; resale shop located in Elburn IL) www.beautifuluministries.org
- The Madonna Renewal Center in Freeport, IL - A home run by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary to serve local women facing unplanned motherhood, empowering them to shape a positive future. www.madonnarenewalcenter.com
- Waterleaf Clinic - Life Center (building a new crisis pregnancy center right across from the Planned Parenthood in Aurora) www.waterleafwc.org
