Youth ministry meets every Tuesday from 6:30 – 8:30pm during the school year. All students whom have completed 6th grade through out going 12th graders are welcome. Our registration packet is below (signatures are made using the pencil tool). We also offer other events aside from Tuesday nights and off campus trips.
The summer of 2024 came and went in the blink of an eye. We took 11 students to summer camp which was filled with Mass, Adoration, ziplining, horseback riding, great food, and joy each day. 16 students went on our daylong pilgrimage to St. Josaphat’s Basilica in Milwaukee where we went to Mass and had an unplanned private tour of over 700 relics. We also had a bonfire and Tie-Dye night. Start thinking about what we will put in our time capsule later this school year. It will be sealed and put away for 20 years.

FAQs
Students
What happens on Tuesday nights? - We typically play a game (some active and some more sedentary), eat snacks, and dive into our faith. Each night is a different topic, and students help pick topics as well as ask any questions about the faith they wish. Some nights we just hang out and watch a movie, sing karaoke, or have a bonfire.
How do I get involved? – Just show up!
Can I bring a friend? Are non-Catholics welcome? - Yes and Yes!
Adults
Why is youth ministry important? – Statistically, most people decide to walk away from their faith in about middle school or to stay connected. We are currently hemorrhaging youth as a Church at large. While students can join many other ministries they are at a critical age in their life and need a space to call their own (ask questions, be goofy, be loud, and be loved). A study by Project YM found out that 24% of young people say they "never feel their life has meaning or purpose" but if just one adult from outside the home invests in them the number drops to 6%!
How is youth ministry funded? - We are given a budget from the collections each year as well as hold one or two fundraisers each school year.
Why should I send my child? - Youth ministry is a place for students to make their faith their own, no longer just the faith of their parents or grandparents. It is also a chance to ask deep / awkward questions about life and faith they might not want to ask in other places as well as simply be a teen (eat junk food, be loud, and make new friends). We are fully aware youth ministry will not be for everyone, just as choir and gardening are not for everyone. Your student will never know unless they give us a chance or two.
How can I get involved? - We are always looking for more help and would love to speak with you! Please email [email protected] or stop by the office to get involved.
